Accountant with office and project management responsibilities

Plair SA is a Geneva-based SME developing solutions for automatic environmental monitoring of airborne allergens, pathogens and air pollution. Our instruments are used by leading meteorological organizations for automatic pollen monitoring, top scientists in aerosol and aerobiology fields worldwide and are also deployed for bio-contamination control and agricultural pest management. To support our daily operations, we are seeking a highly-motivated candidate to join our team in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva. We expect the person will be mainly responsible for the company’s accounting and support our daily office management, administrative tasks, and business development activities.

Your role

Responsible for accounting, management of clients, investor relations and financial reporting, administrative tasks in the office, as well as managing projects, and assisting in related business development activities.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage entire accounting of the company
  • Office management and administrative tasks
  • Project management with clients and business partners
  • Assist management in updating business plan and corporate presentations concerning financial side
  • Business development activities (trade shows, marketing materials, financials)
  • This position may require occasional travelling

Your profile

  • Degree in Accounting with 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in Business Administration, Management, or other related fields
  • Proven experience in accounting (BS, P&L, CF, ROI, accounting standards, compliance with accounting laws)
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Experience in month-end/year-end close process
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, skills in Adobe Suite is a plus
  • Fluent in French, German, and English
  • Flexible, independent, open minded, and with a start-up spirit
  • Communication, organizational, writing and presentation skills
  • Attention to details
  • Proactive and team player

Valid Swiss work permit is mandatory or Swiss nationality
