Data about our own employees is covered by a separate notice. Data processed by our instruments at customer sites is governed by the contract with the customer concerned.

- Contact and quote requests. When you use our contact form or write to us: your name, company, job title, email address, phone number, country, and the content of your message.
- Business relationships. For customers, distributors, agents, and suppliers: contact details of the people we deal with, correspondence, orders, contracts, deliveries, service history, and invoicing and payment data.

5. Who receives your data
Your data is accessed only by the Plair staff who need it. We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- service providers that process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement, in particular website hosting, email (Infomaniak, Switzerland), office and collaboration tools (Microsoft 365), and our business management software (Odoo);
- our distributors and agents, when your request concerns their country or region;
- carriers, banks, insurers, our statutory auditor, and professional advisors, where needed for the purposes above;
- authorities and courts, where we are legally required to do so.
6. Transfers abroad
We store and process data mainly in Switzerland and in France (European Union), which the Swiss Federal Council recognizes as providing an adequate level of protection. Where data is sent to a country without an adequate level of protection, for example to a distributor or a service provider outside Europe, we use the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and recognized by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or rely on a legal exception such as the performance of a contract with you.
7. Security
We protect personal data with technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including access restricted to those who need it, individual accounts with multi-factor authentication, encryption, and tested backups.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- confirm whether we process data about you and give you a copy (right of access);
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data or restrict its processing, unless we must keep it by law;
- stop processing your data, including for marketing (right to object);
- provide the data you gave us in a common electronic format (data portability);
- withdraw a consent you have given, without affecting processing before the withdrawal.
Send your request to privacy@plair.ch. We may ask you to prove your identity and will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can lodge a complaint with the FDPIC in Switzerland or, if you live in the European Union, with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
9. Automated decisions
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when our website or services change. The version published on plair.ch applies, with its date of last update shown at the top of the page.
This policy is available in English and French. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
